First aid trained staff (teaching assistants and administrative staff) have received update/refresher training as per government guidelines - late autumn term 2020/early spring term 2021.
School is pleased to be able to offer private sessions with our School Nurse, Mrs Vanessa Chambers. Mrs Chambers will be happy to talk with parents/carers in confidence regarding many child health matters including diet, sleep, exercise, long and short term medical conditions, mental health etc. Please make use of these sessions if you feel they will be of help.
Fire Risk Assessment - major review - September 2020
School contracted with STK Associates to undertake this statutory review. A delegate from the company spent a day in school speaking with staff, reviewing practice and procedure, checking relevant documentation (eg maintenance regimes for the sprinkler and fire alarm and emergency lighting systems) as appropriate and up to date and viewing the buildings and site generally with a view to fire safety. School took delivery of the resulting written report and is pleased to say that there were no areas of concern and the very few areas of 'suggestion' have all been put in place/into action.
